Our AURORA Community Center is at the heart of VELA’s community-based work – a safe, welcoming, and multi-purpose space for refugees and migrants. It provides continuous social, educational, and psychosocial support, helping individuals and families navigate displacement while building connection, stability, and a sense of belonging.
Through a combination of structured programs and flexible, open activities, we promote social inclusion, well-being, and integration into Polish society. AURORA regularly hosts cultural events, community meetings, and concerts for both children and adults, creating opportunities for shared experiences and joyful moments.
In collaboration with initiatives such as The Flying Seagull Project, we bring creative and engaging activities to our community, especially for children and families. Our offer also includes art activities, handmade workshops, and educational sessions designed for all age groups. These activities encourage creativity, learning, and interaction, while strengthening community ties and fostering mutual understanding.
