In response to this disaster, our&nbsp;team initiated&nbsp;efforts to address the immediate needs of the people in Lower Silesia. To date, we have carried out seven visits, primarily focusing on the regions between&nbsp;K\u0142odzko&nbsp;and&nbsp;L\u0105dek&nbsp;Zdr\u00f3j.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recognizing the urgent needs, VELA Poland mobilized quickly with the support the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The flood response was designed as a targeted, emergency intervention to stabilize affected families, provide material relief and contribute to safe and dignified living\u00a0conditions\u00a0the aftermath of the disaster.\u00a0The\u00a0assistance\u00a0includes food packages, shoes for children, household items (kitchen supplies, mattresses, and hygiene products), coal for heating, and electronic equipment (washing machines, microwaves, kettles\u00a0etc).
