This country report was developed within the framework of the SafeBorders project and follows the common methodological approach applied by consortium partners across the European Union. It presents an overview of the legal, institutional and practical responses to child trafficking in Poland. The report was prepared in two phases: first, a desk research phase based on the analysis of available literature, policy documents and statistical data covering the period 2020–2025; and second, a field research phase involving qualitative data collection through 20 key informant interviews and two focus group discussions with practitioners, including representatives of the Police, judiciary, prosecution services, non-governmental organisations and social workers.
